Cherie Wong 王卓妍 (she/her/她/佢) is a multidisciplinary sociologist, researcher, policy analyst, advocate, and community organizer, with expertise in public policy areas such as foreign interference, transnational repression, diasporic communities, feminist labour, climate justice, and Canada-China policy. She brings extensive experience in stakeholder engagement for research and policy development, using surveys, interviews, content analysis, and environmental scans to support community consultation.

Cherie provides research and consulting for clients working in public policy and political environments, including non-profit & advocacy organizations, think tanks, media, researchers, and policymakers. Cherie navigates real-world political constraints in policymaking, producing politically-informed and attainable policy recommendations for decisionmakers.
Public policy have material consequences for marginalized community members, who often experience the consequences exponentially harsher than their peers.
