Hire Cherie

Cherie Wong 王卓妍 (she/her/她/佢) is a multidisciplinary expert - sociologist, researcher, policy analyst, advocate, and community organizer - with experience in public policy areas including foreign interference, transnational repression, feminist labour, climate justice, and Canada-China policy.

Independent Research

Cherie provides independent research projects for clients working in public policy and political environments, such as advocacy organizations, think tanks, journalists, researchers, and policymakers. Cherie's research analysis is not designed to be neutral. Much of her past work challenged systemic oppression and supported equitable development in governmental, civil society, and media institutions.

Cherie navigates real-world political constraints and translates community insights into public policy recommendations. Public policy carry material consequences, and marginalized community members experience the consequences exponentially harsher than their white, cis-het, middle-upper class, male peers.
